Rose was born with severe hearing loss, later diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (progressive disorder that affects both hearing and vision known as Usher syndrome).  Because of her creativity and living with dual sensory loss, she finds new ways of adapting in order to continue her passions working as an artist.

Rose works with many different mediums:  photography, watercolor, acrylic, pen and alcohol ink.   She discovered that alcohol ink gives a whole new look for book cover art, showing something different that is both innovative and exclusive. She likes to work with writers on creating their book cover art where their story comes to life.
